Contents > Main Window > Encoder Selector Version 1.12 ‣ Encoder Selector The Encoder Selector is a drop-down combo box that shows the Riptastic!-compatible audio encoders installed on your system. The Encoder Selector allows you to choose which encoder will be used during ripping. The encoder determines what kind of file will be created when you rip—such as MP3 or WAV. Beside the Encoder Selector is a Configure button that allows you to fine-tune settings particular to an encoder.
