Ripping individual or multiple tracks in Riptastic! is simple. Just follow these basic steps:
  1. Using the Encoder Selector, select and configure one of the Encoders to use.

  2. Use the Path Selector to select the base path for your music files.

  3. Configure your Customizable Directory Structure using the Files Options.

  4. Insert an audio CD into your CD-ROM drive.

  5. If desired, manually download CD and track information from the Internet by using the Download Toolbar Button or Download Disc Info item from the Tools Menu, unless you have configured Riptastic! to download CD and track information automatically via the Internet Options.

  6. Select the track(s) you would like to rip from the Track List.

  7. Begin rippping by clicking the Rip Trax Toolbar Button or selecting the Rip Trax! item from the Rip Menu. (Hint: You can also begin ripping by right-clicking on one of the selected tracks and slecting Rip from the pop-up menu.)
That's all there is to it! Normally, once you have configured Riptastic! to your liking following steps 1 to 3 above, you will not have to adjust these settings every time. So you can rip tracks easily using just steps 4 to 7. If you would like to rip the entire CD at one time, see Rip Disc.

Should any of the tracks you've selected to rip already exist on your hard disk, Riptastic! will show you the File Exists Dialog to confirm what you would like to do in this situation. Once ripping begins, you will be taken to the Capture Dialog.
